About Me
I’ve feel like I’ve been shooting for a really, really long time. But honestly, it’s not what I thought I’d end up doing. I went to theatre school to learn acting. Thing is, I really liked cameras too. I developed a huge fascination for theatre photography watching our tech professor Gavin Semple shoot the shows I was working on. I’d ask, “How can you get a shot with such little light? How do you time it so you can capture the perfect moment that encapsulates the tone of an entire scene? And how do you do all of this while shooting film?!”
I’m pushing 50 here, so this was well before the advent of digital, and I’ve shot theatre with my film camera. It’s really hard. And expensive. And I certainly didn’t shoot the number of photos I do now. But the whole thing was just intoxicating, the pursuit of the perfect moment in time.
Now that digital has evoloved, through advancements in mirrorless, I’ve figured out tricks to get shots with very little light. My acting training has given me a gift for reading the build of a scene so I can try to be in the right place for the absolute best shot. But the skills you learn shooting film are still the basis of an understanding of digital photography.
My experience is diverse, and I love to shoot almost anything. Clearly, I have a love for theatre and film. But I bring a professional approach to all my work, and will “artify” (yeah, I made that up) every shoot I’m booked on.
Your family photo, wedding or event is a singular moment in time that will never happen again. Much like theatre, when it’s done, it’s done. You need someone who can capture the moments that you’ll want to cherish. Me, maybe?

Weddings
- $2000 investment includes 60 minute Engagement Session, Ceremony, Formals and all photos in an online gallery. Coverage up to 6 hours. Single Photographer
- $3000 investment includes all of the above, plus Reception. Up to 9 hours. Single Photographer
- $4000 investment includes all of the above, plus Bride’s/ Groom’s Preparations. Up to 12 hours. After 12 hours an additional $200/ hour is charged. Single Photographer

- $500 add Gift Opening
Corporate
Corporate bookings start at $1500/ 8 hour day based on internal use. $200/ hr after 8. Publication rates negotiable based on use.
Headshots
$329 +GST. 90 minutes, 3 looks, studio and natural lighting weather permitting. Online Gallery, 5 edited high res finals.
Family
On location sessions start at $500/ 90 minutes. Online Gallery
